Tapy Live Terms

Who we are

Tapy Live (live.happytapy.app) shows what you say as subtitles on a screen, as you say it, or its translation. It is provided and sold by AI Central, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we"). Write to us at support@happytapy.app.

Your account

• You need an account, one per person. Keep your password to yourself.
• A new account gets 30 minutes free, once per person. Making accounts to get more free time is not allowed, and we may close them.
• You can delete your account at any time by writing to us.

What you can expect

Subtitles and translations are made by machines, live, and can be wrong. Do not rely on them where a mistake could cause harm, such as legal, medical or safety matters. You need a browser that can use a microphone and an internet connection.

Using it fairly

• Only show the speech of people who agree to it, where the law asks for their consent.
• Do not use Tapy Live for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive others.
• Do not try to get around its limits, or overload or attack it.

Hours and prices

• You buy hours of listening. While the microphone is on, each second of sound counts.
• Prices are shown before you pay, per hour, in the currency you pick. Tax is added where the law requires it.
• Hours you buy do not expire while Tapy Live runs. They cannot be moved to another account or exchanged for money, except as these terms say.

Payment and invoices

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card statement shows "AI CENTRAL* TAPY LIVE". Each payment comes with an invoice, which you can download in Account; a company can add its name, address and tax ID at checkout.

Refunds

• Within 14 days of a purchase, we refund the hours of it you have not used, if you ask us.
• Hours you have used are not refunded, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
• If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom: at checkout you ask for your hours to be available at once, and you agree that you lose the right to withdraw from the purchase once you start using them.
• When a payment is refunded, its hours come off your account.

Changes and ending

We may change Tapy Live and these terms. We will tell you about important changes before they apply. If we stop offering Tapy Live, we refund the hours you have not used. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

Our responsibility

Tapy Live is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Delaware. Where the consumer law of the country you live in gives you more protection, or lets you go to your own courts, that law applies.
